Very lightweight and suitable for use in vehicles, buildings and sea craft and in most types of armour screens and hand-held shields.
Available in two protection levels:
The armour comprises a rigid fibre and resin composite that is bullet-resistant and resistant to shotgun projectiles, blast compression and fragments from small explosive devices.
The armour can be manufactured and supplied in flat panels or formed shapes with apertures as necessary for ducts and cables, etc.
The armour conforms to the following standards for testing and classification of resistance against bullet or fragment attack:

Note: The above BS standards for glazing are widely adopted for armour in general in vehicles and buildings. The above PSDB, NIJ and NATO standards for personal armour are similarly adopted for this and other armour applications
